What do fireworks, Good People beer, a birthday party and Vulcan have in common? 4th of July Weekend in Five Points South!

 

Five Points South Bham and REV Birmingham are proud to present the 3rd Annual "RED, WHITE & BREWS" in Five Points South. A TWO DAY 4th of July promotion celebrating Amercia's birthday and Good People Brewing Companies 7th Anniversary.

 

The event takes place Friday July 3rd with a grub crawl and Saturday July 4th with Fireworks from Vulcan and featuring food, fireworks and $4 Good People brews in Birmingham's Premier Culinary and Entertainment District.

 


 Friday. July 3rd - Grub Crawl from 6pm til late 

 

Kick off the 4th of July early on Friday night with a 4th of July Good People Birthday Grub Crawl. REV Birmingham and area merchants will guide the Good People crew and crawlers as a group around to 7 participating eatries and bars. Participates will enjoy $4 Good People brews, food, live music and birthday giveaways including gift cards and swag throughout the evening.

 
During each stop, birthday gift giveaways from Good People and participating merchants will be given away to lucky crawlers. There will be 7 chances to win, make sure to get a ticket at each location to participate. A special birthday giveaway from Birmingham Mountain Radio will be given to one lucky crawler at the last stop, which will include one pair of tickets to the Alabama Shakes with Drive By Truckers concert on August 20th.

Fireworks Night- Sat. July 4th 

Come back on Friday July 4th to grab some food, a drink and a GREAT spot  with family or friends to watch Vulcans "Thunder on the Mountain".
 
For decades, Thunder on the Mountain has been hailed as one of the largest and most extravagant Independence Day traditions in the state of Alabama and this year will be no exception. On Saturday, July 4 at 9 p.m., Thunder on the Mountain 2015 will once again illuminate the skies above Birminghams beloved iron man, Vulcan.
Free to the public, this years show will last approximately 20 minutes and will feature a variety of firework shells that will brighten the sky with new colors and patterns. The show will be choreographed to a musical soundtrack that will feature a mix of patriotic favorites and popular music.
